Parade of Lights (1996 – Present)

The Parade of Lights is proud to celebrate the cultural and ethnic diversity of the region. In addition, special performers will enliven the parade every step of the way. Colorado sports team mascots will get into the spirit of the season too! Some of our favorite animals will make an appearance in the Parade (Colorado Disc Dogs, Denver Samoyed Association, and The Westernaires). Also featured in the parade are the Denver Firefighters Local 858 and the Denver Sheriff Department Honor Guard. And new this year, Denver Sports presents the 2012 NCAA Women’s Final Four by introducing a new larger than life Basketball Balloon accompanied by some talented dribblers. With its cast of thousands, the 36th annual 9NEWS Parade of Lights continues to be spectacular in its entertainment and dazzling lights!
